I take immense pride in offering the best possible unique and unforgettable experience of Japan's breathtaking natural beauty and unique culture. So much of Japan's culture takes inspiration from its natural surroundings and I truly believe that exploring the Japanese outdoors, visiting smaller towns and local businesses will give you a greater insight into the culture. To me, Japan is the most exotic first world country one can travel to and that there is a perfect balance to exploring its natural and cultural side to make a uniquely Japanese experience.
Here our my core values:
I make sure to have a high understanding of the places where tours are offered. Having spent a decade skiing on Hokkaido, climbed Mt Fuji over 250 times or made personal connections with the Monks in Koyasan, I pride myself in offering Japan adventure that cannot be replicated and no two trips are the same.
Safety and Comfort above all. Myself and any additional guides I bring onto a tour will have a Wilderness First Responder and/or a Professional Avalanche Safety Certification. I understand the Japanese Emergency/ Medical Response system, its limitations and plan all trips accordingly. I am fully bilingual and can communicate with authorities and/or professional medical staff in the event of an emergency.
Authentic Cultural Encounters. The tours are not just about nature; they offer an insight into Japan's rich cultural heritage. You'll engage with local communities, partake in traditional rituals (when applicable), and savor authentic regional cuisine, elevating your experience beyond exploration.
I believe in exploring beyond the ordinary (which is why I became a guide in the first place, to show the BEST of Japan). Enjoy thoughtfully crafted itineraries that blend iconic landmarks with hidden gems, remote trails and lesser-known spots, revealing the hidden treasures of Japan.
Customization at Its Core. Each traveler is unique. That's why tailor-made adventures are offered allowing you to choose your desired level of challenge, preferred activities, and an itinerary that aligns with your interests.
Unforgettable Memories. We'll go the extra mile to create memories that last a lifetime. Witness stunning sunrises over majestic peaks, soak in natural hot springs amidst snow-capped mountains, and be captivated by the harmony of nature and culture.
I share the same passion for adventure as you! I have been traveling since the day I was born, I am constantly looking for/finding new nooks and crannies. It's my life's work!
I very much look forward to sharing some good times with you in Japan!
